The Board of Adjustment is a state mandated body that operates on a level between the enforcement officers and the courts. Appeals to a denial of a building permit by a Building Inspector or a request for a variance from the zoning ordinance is heard by the Board of Adjustment.
The Board of Adjustment consists of five (5) members and two (2) alternatives appointed by the Town Council.
Members serve three (3) year terms.
Applications for an appeal or variance may be directed to either the Building Inspector or Town Clerk’s office.
