The Town Council held a special meeting on November 2, 2017. At this meeting, Council awarded a contract to Thomas Construction Group, LLC. for the expansion/renovation of the existing town hall, police and fire buildings and for construction of a new fire station.
Construction contract amount was $4,386,807. The Town Council also finalized the budget for this project at $5,330,959, with $330,959 to be transferred from the General Fund and $5,000,000 to be financed.
