The Town Clerk is a position mandated by state statute as the custodian of official Town records.
Other duties performed by the Clerk include:
- Personnel Officer
- Office Manager
- Preparation of agendas and minutes for the Town Council
- Maintenance and update of the Code of Ordinances
- Performs statutory Town Clerk responsibilities
- Acts as the official contact for Public Records Law requests
- Coordinates Administrative Hearings for appeal of Civil Citations
- Assists Town committees
