- Reviewing County Tax Receivable
- Processing Privilege Licenses
- Utility Billing and Collection
- Ordering Garbage Carts for Residents
If you have an issue with your water and/or sewer SYSTEM and believe it is Town-related, please contact Public Works at 910-458-5816 to report the problem. Otherwise, all billing questions should be directed to the Billing department.
Water/Sewer & Garbage Cart Set-up
If you are a new property owner, please print, read and complete this Water/Sewer & Garbage Cart Application and information sheet and bring it to Town Hall to set up your utility services and to purchase a garbage cart. If you have questions regarding the application or the information provided, please call Denise McVicker at 910-458-8216.
All utility payments are the responsibility of the property owner, per the Town of Kure Beach Code of Ordinances. We only accept cash or a check made payable to the Town of Kure Beach. No credit cards, please.
Monthly Utility Fees for Kure Beach residents are as follows:
- Water use up to 3,000 gallons is $13.50
- Sewer use up to 3,000 gallons is $23.50
- Water use exceeding 3,000 gallons is $2.40 per 1,000 gallons (calculated in increments of 100)
- Sewer use exceeding 3,000 gallons is $3.10 per 1,000 gallons (calculated in increments of 100)
- Storm Water Fee $8.71
- Garbage pickup $4.00 per cart
- Recycle pickup $4.52 per cart
NOTE: An average utility bill (3,000 gallons and under) will be $54.23 per month.
