Kure Beach Town Council will hold an Emergency Meeting at Town Hall on Thursday, October 6th, beginning at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of discussing and deciding when and if a State of Emergency should be declared pending the approach of Hurricane Matthew. The town's department heads have been meeting since Sunday in preparation for the impending storm, along with our Emergency Management Coordinator.
