The 8th Annual Island Day celebration is at Ocean Front Park in Kure Beach this Sunday, September 24th from 1-5 pm! Carl Newton’s Review will be rocking the stage throughout the day. Activities include face painting, chair massages, pony rides on the beach from 2-4pm, photo booth, live reptiles, corn hole, raffles, games, and a variety of other hands-on activities and educational opportunities. Bring a cooler with sandwiches and snacks, or grab a hot dog, chips, and soda from the Fire Department. Sit on your blankets, relax and enjoy the music, activities, and time with friends and neighbors. Parking for the event will be available along 6th Avenue, I Avenue, Town Hall and Joe Eakes Park, and K Avenue. It is going to be a great day - we hope to see you there!
