KB ADOPT-A-BEACH PROGRAM OFF TO A GREAT START!!

It has only been 3 weeks since the town's Adopt-A-Beach program was launched, thanks to the Shoreline Access, Beach Protection and Parking Committee, and already 11 out of 17 beach areas have been adopted! Beach areas that still need adopting are at CAMA Beach Access numbers 630, 460, 99, 227, 541 and 1255. You can also sign up to adopt beach areas that have already been adopted; the more the merrier! Information on how the program works, the map and a registration area can be found on the program's website at http://www.kbadoptabeach.com/. The link to the program is also on the town's homepage under Quick Links. If you haven't adopted a section of the beach strand yet, show your neighborhood pride and get your family and neighbors together to adopt the beach area closest to you. Organizations and businesses are also encouraged to put some skin "sandal" in the game. The town, the wildlife and the marine life thank you for keeping the beach (and inevitably the water) free of debris.
