LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER TO SERVE ON THE CAPE FEAR DISABILITY COMMISSION

The Town of Kure Beach is looking for a volunteer from the Kure Beach community to serve on the Cape Fear Disability Commission. The commission’s mission is to eliminate barriers in the community for people with disabilities, including, but not limited to, barriers related to attitude, employment, housing and transportation. The commission meets at Wilmington City Hall, in the Lord Compton Room, on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. If you are interested in volunteering to represent the Town on this commission, please fill out this Committee Application and submit it to Town Hall by Monday, February 9th, to be considered.
