NEED VOLUNTEER FOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Town Council is seeking a resident to volunteer to serve on the Wilmington Metropolitan Transportation Organization (WMPO) Citizen Advisory Committee.

 

The WMPO is the regional transportation planning agency for the lower Cape Fear region of southeastern N.C. that serves as the basis for the expenditure of all federal transportation funds in the area for streets, highways, bridges, public transit, bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

 

The Citizen Advisory Committee meets on an as needed basis, with a tentative meeting date of the third Wednesday of the month at 3 pm at 305 Chestnut Street in the 4th floor Traffic Conference Room in downtown Wilmington.

 

If you are interested in serving, please fill out the committee application form located on the Town’s website under government/committees, or stop by Town Hall, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm to pick up an application.
