We are in need of residents to volunteer to serve on the Marketing committee. Members meet with the Cape Fear Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau staff on a monthly or semi-monthly basis. Meetings are held at the Town Hall in Kure Beach. Purpose of the committee is to advise on how the Town's portion of funds received from Room Occupancy Taxes charged by hotels is used. The Visitor's Bureau targets markets outside of the area to encourage visitors to the area.
