Ocean Front Park construction update

January 24, 2013 06:45

Construction of the Ocean Front Park is winding down - really and truly! Plantings and sod are being installed this week. Atlantic Avenue has been repaved and parking areas have been marked. The boardwalk is open to the public, but the park site itself is not yet open, so we ask that you not enter the park site until the Town announces completion of construction.

Don't forget the Grand Opening Celebration scheduled for Friday, April 26th, 2013 beginning at 11:30 am and the Annual Street Festival the next day, Saturday, April 27th beginning at 11 am. You definitely want to attend these two events.

Only 2 swings are left for commemorative/sponsorship opportunites in the park site. Cost is $2000 and includes 2 engraved Bluefish and a wooden nautical cut out of your choice above the swing. We have 10 Bluefish orders and need another 15 to get the next 'school of fish' installed on the boardwalk. Photos of the Ocean Front Park are on the Town's website at
