Just a reminder that the Town Hall facility at 117 Settlers Lane is closed for business. Town staff for administration, building inspections, finance, police and recreation have relocated to a temporary Town Hall location at Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area near the south end of town across from the Ocean Dunes complex. Our mailing address has not changed, so continue to send payments and correspondence to 117 Settlers Lane. Also, phone numbers haven't changed either.
Once you turn into the FF Air Force Recreation Area from South Fort Fisher Boulevard, take the first left. There are several construction trailers in that area where staff is located. There is also a large red windsock near the temporary location. Click here for a map.
The closed Town Hall facility will begin an expansion and renovation project in mid-January which will include construction of a new fire station. The project is expected to take 10-12 months to complete. We apologize, but while staff is in the temporary location, there will not be a drop box available for payments. All town board, committee and council meetings will be held in the temporary Town Hall location.
