TOWN HALL AND POLICE OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR MOVE BACK TO NEW FACILITY
We are very pleased to announce that the expansion and renovation of the Town Hall and Police Station is coming to a close.
To allow time for staff to move out of the temporary location back to the new facility, the Town Council is announcing the closure of the Administration, Building Inspection, Finance, Police and Recreation offices to the public beginning Monday, March 11th through Friday, March 15th. All offices will reopen for business as usual at the 117 Settlers Lane location on Monday, March 18th.
Utility payments during this week may be paid either on line on the Town’s website at www.townofkurebeach.org > online payments or mailed to Town Hall, 117 Settlers Lane, Kure Beach, NC 28449.
Phone service during this time will go to voice mail with calls being returned on Monday, March 18th. Police officers will be on patrol during this week, as usual. If there is an emergency situation, please call 911.
Fire and Public Works offices are not impacted by this move and will be open for business.
The new Fire Station is complete and fire staff are in the building. There is on-going construction and renovation work in both the Town Hall, the Police station and the old Fire station through March 10th, so the complex is not yet open for business.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause. We appreciate your patience while we make this transition and look forward to seeing you at the new Town Hall complex on Monday, March 18th. The drop box for utility payments at Town Hall will re-open on Monday, March 18th.
Mark your calendars for a grand opening ceremony on Saturday, May 11th. More information will be coming.
