Kure (pronounced KYUR-ee) Beach has eight public beach accesses that allow parking right at the point of entry. Additionally, there is ample parking in our downtown area so that you can be right in the heart of the action. Park & walk to one of our many restaurants offering mouth-watering fare; scout out a great Mom-and-Pop hotel in which to spend the night (because we know you’ll want to stay for more than a day) and pick up some souvenirs at one of our shops. Did we forget to mention that the Kure Beach Fishing Pier is located right in the middle of it all? If you don't plan on fishing off the pier, you can take a stroll on the pier for FREE to see sweeping views of the ocean and the Kure Beach strand. Did you know that the Kure Beach Fishing Pier is the OLDEST fishing pier on the Eastern Coastline? It's just another reason why our town is so special! Visit our "About Kure Beach" web pages to read about the town's history and find out other interesting facts about Kure Beach.
