The Kure Beach Town Council is seeking volunteers to serve the community on the following committees:
Board of Adjustment- Alternate Member
This board hears & decides on the outcome of appeals for variances and decisions of the Building Inspector related to the zoning ordinances of the Town. The board meets annually in January at the Town Hall and as needed when a case comes before the board.
Planning & Zoning Commission – Alternate member
The duty of the commission is to establish principles and policies for guiding action in the development of the area; prepare and recommend to the town council ordinances promoting orderly development along the lines indicated in the comprehensive plan. It meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at the Town Hall
