The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WMPO) is developing a long-range transportation plan called "Cape Fear Transportation 2040." This plan is a federal requirement to guide transportation funding in our region over the next 25 years. The plan will identify priority transportation projects in the Cape Fear Region.  Public input is a crucial component to identifying transportation needs in the community. Simply put, this is your opportunity to advocate for transportation solutions for our region.  This plan will cover all transportation modes: roadway, bicycle, pedestrian, bridge, aviation, ferry, etc. Whether you live, work or play in the Cape Fear region, we want your input.  Please take the 16-question survey by clicking on the link below.

You can also visit the project website for more information: http://www.transportation2040.org/.

In addition, there will be a series of open houses where you can come to give the WMPO your input on transportation needs and find out more about Cape Fear Transportation 2040.
