tay tuned to local news or to The Weather Channel for updates. If all goes well, it looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend at Kure Beach. We hope to see you soon!

TENNIS COURTS @ JOE EAKES PARK

CLOSED FOR RENOVATION

Pardon our dust while the town renovates the tennis courts at Joe Eakes Park with all new surfaces and lighting. Unfortunately, the old courts were too uneven to resurface, so they are getting a major overhaul. Things should be open and back to normal by the third full week in September. We'll keep you posted!

NEW HOURS OF OPERATION

JOE EAKES PARK

Please note that the hours of operation for Joe Eakes Park's fields, playgrounds and other facilities are from Sunrise to Sunset, except for the tennis courts. When the tennis courts reopen, the operating hours for the courts will be from Sunrise to 11:00 pm.

BIG SWEEP ANNUAL BEACH CLEAN-UP

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 @ 9:00 AM

Anyone wishing to help clean our beach is asked to be at the Kure Beach Fishing Pier at the beginning of the event. Bring sturdy shoes, clothes that can get dirty, drinking water and sunscreen. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
