VACANCY: FINANCE SPECIALIST
The Town of Kure Beach is accepting applications through January 9, 2015 for the full time position of Finance Specialist. Position will perform accounting, clerical and administrative duties related to payment of vendors and employees, purchase orders, general ledger journal entries and financial records management. Position also shares customer service duties to include answering phones, greeting and assisting the public and serves as primary assistant to the Finance Officer.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills and some experience in processing financial transactions are required. A degree in finance is preferred, but not mandatory. Applicant must have ability to communicate effectively with the public.
Hiring range is $26,289 to $41,727 with benefits.
