VEHICLE RE-ENTRY DECAL
The re-entry decal should be displayed in the lower left corner (driver's side) of the inside of your vehicle's windshield. Although it isn't mandatory, the decal is used as an aid to identify residents and non-resident property owners to regain entry to the island if the Snow's Cut Bridge is ever closed to the general public due to a natural disaster or emergency event. If you don't have a re-entry decal, you will need to show proof of residency or property ownership to the law enforcement officer at the bridge.
PROOF OF RESIDENCY OR PROPERTY OWNERSHIP
To obtain a re-entry decal for your vehicle, please bring your vehicle registration to Town Hall with your payment. If your vehicle registration doesn't have your Kure Beach address on it, please bring proof of residency/property ownership such as a utility bill, lease, deed, an envelope mailed to you at your Kure Beach address, etc. The proof should have your name and Kure Beach address on it.
COST OF DECAL
Between January 1st and March 31st, the cost of a decal is $5 for residents and non-resident property owners. Between April 1st and December 31st, the cost of a decal is $15 for residents and non-resident property owners. If you become a resident or property owner after March 31st, please bring proof of such, and your decal will only cost $5 for that first year. We accept cash, check and credit card payments.
