IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE FINANCE OFFICER

The next phase of our financial system implementation is now complete. This phase added a new customer portal. The portal can be accessed by clicking on the “Make a Payment” button at the top right of the Town of Kure Beach website (townofkurebeach.org).
Once on the online payments website, clicking the link for “Water and Sewer Payments” lets you make an online payment without setting up an account (Quick pay) or gives you the ability to set up an online account. An online account gives you the ability to:
• Make a payment (via credit/debit card or eCheck)
• Setup recurring payments
• Request an eBill rather than receiving a bill in the mail
• View a copy of your bill
• View your billing and payment history
• View a chart of your water consumption history as well as providing the data in tabular format
Additionally, any water and sewer payments made on the online payment website by either credit card, debit card or eCheck, will not incur any processing fees.
On the “Water and Sewer Payments” page of the online payment website, there is a link to instructions for setting up an online account.
Also, our new system provides for payments by phone. The payment interactive voice response system can be accessed at (877) 825-4018. You will need to know your account number to utilize this service. As with the online payment portal, you will not incur any credit/debit card processing fees.
Finally, if you want to make an online payment for something other than water and sewer (e.g., building permits, citations, etc.), click the “Miscellaneous Payments” link on the online payments website and follow the instructions. For miscellaneous payments, credit/debit card processing fees will be added to the payment amount.
