FRIENDS OF KURE BEACH COMMUNITY WALK - FRIDAY, APRIL 24TH
Friends of Kure Beach is hosting a community walk event on Friday, April 24th. The 1.5 mile walk will leave from the Ocean Front Park at 7:30 PM. Grab some reflective gear, glow sticks, solar lights or whatever you can find to be seen, or make a scene, and join the fun. KURE COMMUNITY FEST - SATURDAY, APRIL 25TH

NOTICE OF HURRICANE SESSIONS TO BE HELD IN MAY
Mayor Pro Tem Heglar will hold two Hurricane Sessions to be held at Town Hall in the Council Chambers as follows: Friday, May 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Please make sure to sign up to receive Emergency Alerts from the Town.
DOGS ON THE BEACH HOURS
It shall be unlawful for any person to have or allow their dog to be upon the beach within the Town’s jurisdictional limits during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from April 1st through September 30th of each year. It shall be unlawful for any person to allow their dog to be off their property without being on a leash or restraint which shall not exceed fifteen (15) feet in length
