Kure Beach Town Council met and made the following changes to its State of Emergency restrictions effective May 8, 2020 at 5:00 pm in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Public Parking restrictions continue in Kure Beach in support of the Governor’s Stay at Home order. Visitors are advised to visit the Town’s website, www.townofkurebeach.org for specifics regarding parking. ALL restrictions are being enforced.
For beach activities, the Town is following the Governor’s guidelines on social distancing, no groups larger than 10 people.
The Town continues to prohibit Short Term Rentals and Motel/Hotel openings in support of the Governor’s Phase I changes announced on May 5, 2020. Based on the Governor’s current timeline, Short Term Rentals and Motel/Hotel openings are expected to occur on May 22, 2020.
