Notice is hereby given that a quasi-judicial hearing will be held by the Kure Beach Historic Preservation Commission on an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness (“COA”) filed by JIMBATIM, LLC for property located at 126 North 3rd Avenue, Kure Beach, North Carolina (“Property”). The Property is within the Downtown Preservation Overlay District and the applicant seeks a COA for exterior alterations to an existing structure including: constructing a fence; replacing the garage doors; repairing the driveway; replacing the structure’s front and rear doors; installing exterior lighting; and landscaping.
A person must have standing to participate as a party in the hearing and cross-examine witnesses, object to evidence, offer rebuttal, and challenge the impartiality of a member of the decision-making board. Standing to participate as a party is defined in N.C.G.S. § 160D-1402.
