The Kure Beach Town Hall and Fire Department are collection sites for Toys for Tots this holiday season. If you wish to make a donation of a new, unwrapped toy - please swing by during business hours and leave the donation in the collection bin located in the lobby. Current Town Hall lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM. Donation collection will take place through Friday, December 12th. The Toys for Tots organization does not accept toy guns of any kind.
The Season of Giving food drive for the Help Center of Federal Point is also ongoing. Collection bins will be in the Town Hall lobby through Friday, December 19th. Items of ongoing need include peanut butter/jelly, macaroni & cheese, canned meats (chicken/tuna/corn beef hash/etc.), cereal, canned fruits/vegetables/beans, pasta/pasta sauce, and one can meals (ravioli/spaghetti/etc.). Items past their expirations date cannot be donated.
If you wish to make a financial donation to either organization, please place your donation in an envelope in the lock box located in Town Hall parking lot. They can accept cash, check, or money order and all checks/money orders should be made out to The Help Center or Toys for Tots.
