Bike/Ped Committee:
We're looking for someone who:

✅ Can attend committee meetings and community events a few times each month, we're a working committee!
✅ Has the patience to work through government processes and help make positive change
✅ Cares about the safety of pedestrians and people on bikes of all ages and abilities
✅ Is interested in learning about safe transportation through educational events around North Carolina
✅ Brings an open mind, positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team
✅ Is willing to help at community events by teaching and promoting safe walking and bicycling through fun, engaging activities that encourage people of all ages to travel safely and confidently.

Planning & Zoning Commission - Alternate Member
The Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall. The Commission is responsible for: Preparation, amendment and revision of the Zoning and Subdivision ordinances and Land Use Plan as related to the physical development of the area. The preparation and recommendation to the Town Council of ordinances promoting orderly development along the lines indicated in the Land Use Plan.
