IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE POLICE CHIEF

Citizens,

With the holiday just around the corner we want to wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July! We would also like this to serve as a friendly reminder that personal fireworks are illegal and have caused issues in previous years. These issues have included minor property damage and an excess of litter, especially on our beach strands. There are several venues and events offering fireworks for you to enjoy and we hope you take advantage of these wonderful activities. Best to spectate and not participate with fireworks in Kure Beach. Have fun and stay safe!

Fire On Beach

  1. Any type of fire including outdoor grills on the sand dunes on or east of the CAMA easement line is prohibited on the beach to prevent potential hazards to the general public.
