The Kure Beach Community Center Committee offers informative 45-60 minute presentations on a variety of useful topics at the Kure Beach Community Center. The March topic is Identity Theft: Protect Yourself and will take place Tuesday, March 24th at 7pm. This program is presented by representatives of Civic Federal Credit Union.
Identity Theft is the fastest growing crime in America; over the last decade incidents have grown at an alarming rate of approximately 85%. The Federal Trade Commission reported $12.5 billion was lost to fraud in 2025; a 75% increase over 2021. Join us at the upcoming Identity Theft seminar to learn some tips on protecting your identity.
