Community Center Committee - Need one full member, and two alternate members

This committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 am at Town Hall.

Board of Adjustment - One alternate member needed

This board hears & decides on the outcome of appeals for variances and decisions of the Building Inspector related to the zoning ordinances of the Town. The board meets annually in January at the Town Hall and as needed when a case comes before the board. 

Marketing Advisory Committee - One member needed 

This committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Town of Kure Beach and the Wilmington/Cape Fear Coast CVB marketing staff, developing marketing and advertising efforts to promote travel and tourism to Kure Beach. Committee meets 4th Tuesday of every month, 11:30 am at Town Hall.

Planning & Zoning Commission - One full member and one alternate member needed 

The Commission meetings are held the 1^st Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter at Town Hall. 

The Commission is responsible for Preparation, amendment and revision of the Zoning and Subdivision ordinances and Land Use Plan as related to the physical development of the area. The preparation and recommendation to the Town Council of ordinances promoting orderly development along the lines indicated in the Land Use Plan.
